hi Kristi, thanks for my comment on sugary. I actually painted it on wood first, then scanned it in and added the indian textile patterns in photoshop.Your work is fantastic, have you been at this game for a long time? I am amazed by how many books you have done!

If you're interested in writing or illustrating for children's books, check out CWIM (Children's Writers and Illustrators Market). That book tells you which publishers are open to submissions and what exactly exactly you should send to them so that you appear professional. Also join SCBWI. Hope that helps.
