Just beautiful Kristi! Look at all of your hard work. You have so much talent and I love how your work has even been evolving and becoming better and better. I know you work digitally, but is the background/sky/clouds in the Zebra illustration hand painted? I really am amazed at your talent. I just know next year is going to be a great year for your career. These books really showcase your ability to illustrate animals and people very well, and the colors are perfect.

Kate - I painted all of these books digitally in Photoshop using my swift wacom tablet, electronic pen, and playing around like crazy creating new Photoshop brushes that emulate traditional mediums. I like how the watercolor-like stormy sky eventually turned out.

Robert, the monitor I'm using is an Apple Cinema Display recommended to me by another digital illustrator, Elizabeth Dulemba. This is such a huge difference between this display and my old one. And I didn't realize how off my laptop screen was until I started using this one. I love it!
Congrats!! Such a wonderful group of illustrations, I'm sure the books will be a big success. They do look like a traditional medium, they have a fantastic soft feel... wow! :)
