Peter Pan

A bit of fairy dust, a good thought, and POOF! You could fly too!

Last week I read Peter Pan as part of Jacqui Robbin's Remedial English Lit Summer Project. Here's my cocky, young Peter.

I love it. I can't wait to show my daughter. Michael hanging on is my favorite part.

I love how the background makes Peter stand out, and gives the children's flight movement. Great job!

I love your blog Kristi, and I've awarded you with a 2008 Brilliant Blog Award! Come on over to my blog and see...http://ljm-illustrator.blogspot.com

Thanks Jacqui, Lisa, and Anthony! I think this illo is one of my favorites that I've done too. I'll be using it in my chapter book/MG illustration portfolio for sure.

Kristi! This is my new favorite illustration of yours!!! I love it! I love the characters, their placement and expressions, and the way you did the sky and city below them. Awesome! I can't get enough of this one.

I never want to grow up either, especially if it means I can read books like this and see illustrations like yours every day!

Oh, you make me want to fly!!!
This is just so wonderful. The only thing that would have kept me grounded was my old english sheepdog, Einstein.

Just fabulous!

Thanks for the comments on my illustrations. I'm working illustrating a poem my mother-in-law wrote. Hopefully we'll get it published!
