Illustration Friday "Flawed"


Since Cora was unsure how to check the noodles to see if they were done soaking, she tried to smell them. Oops!

I illustrated these for the picture book, Cora Cooks Pancit.

  14. Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments and encouragement! Atsi-Batsi, to answer your question, yes, this "pancit" is the Filipino pancit. There's even a recipe for it at the end of the book. It's super yummy!

    My mother only ever let me shred the chicken for pancit, probably because I made a mess in the kitchen helping too. Such hard work!
